| It's Monday morning and we're still in these really beautiful Lemom
Cays. Unfortunately the mosquitoes are also still here and therefore we
run away. Our geckos are totally full so these small mosquitoes are still
harassing us. So we visit one of the most famous anchoring spots again, the "Aquarium" in the Hollandes Cays. This place lives up to its name again - a magnificent stingray and his co-pilot greet us. |

On Tuesday we change our anchoring spot and move closer to a beautiful
reef we want to explore. We're anchoring in 3 m deep, crystal clear water,
and dive into the unbelievable underwater world. The next day we don't have that chance any more; 3 knots of swell going against 5 Beaufort wind make SILVER BLUE spin around her anchor like a gyroscope. But there are a lot of other great places among the St. Blas Islands. Therefore we take off on Thursday, to the Coco Bandero Cays, 8 nautical miles away. |
| We find a beautiful anchoring spot between 3 small islands covered with
palm trees. Of course these islands were waiting for us to explore them, so we quickly got the dinghy ready and set out. We spent a few fantastic days here. |
Sure, now and again there are odd jobs to be done on the ship, like
on Saturday when the engines cone belt needed some adjustments and,
as a "treat", the BB-engines starter had to be fixed, but
we do have enough time left to enjoy this beautiful place. |
And, something very special happened on Saturday evening: after some delicious
tuna for dinner we're sitting on deck with a glass of wine as a dolphin looks
in on us
The week says its good-byes with an impressive sunset.
More impressions from Panama, next week, if you like
until then, take care!
