BULA!
After having spent a few days at the Vuda Point Marina to stock up on provisions and to get some other things done, SILVER BLUE left again, heading for the Yasawa Islands.

There is a lot left to discover is this highly diverse island world and long beaches, covered with fine sand, to take walks on. Fijis light, fine sand sometimes even gets shipped to French Polynesia, to decorate their hotel beaches.

Even though Fijis beaches are clean and not covered with rubbish like so many other places in this world, one can find some interesting things on them besides seashells. How might this piece of German craftsmanship have ended up here?

Since we met our old diving buddy from the catamaran Kassomay here again, we just have to go for a few dives through Fijis magnificent underwater world. The diversity here lets every divers heart beat faster.

The angler also gets a catch, almost every time. We had a special one when we were dragging tow lines behind. A beautiful mackerel got hooked on the one and at the same time a large wahoo got hooked on the other.

Although tourism is growing rapidly here (no surprise - Fiji is one of the last paradise-like destinations), we still find a few villages where the very, very friendly inhabitants still live a very traditional life.

And since there is so much more to discover in Fiji SILVER BLUE will still be cruising these water for a while, so there'll soon be more news from here.

Until then ... take care!
